YouTube TV ($82.99/mo), Hulu + Live TV ($89.99/mo), and DirecTV Stream ($82.99/mo) all carry CNBC as a standard part of their base lineup, no add-on required. All three cost roughly double what Sling charges, but each also adds a much broader channel count, including local channels in most markets, than Sling's tiered plans.
If CNBC is one line item in a bigger household wish list that also includes ESPN, a local news affiliate, or live sports, one of these three full-lineup plans is the more realistic pick than chasing the cheapest CNBC-only option below.
CNBC is not in the Sling Blue base plan. It's part of the separate $6/mo News Extra add-on, which brings Sling Blue's effective price to $51.99/mo for CNBC. That's still cheaper than YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, or DirecTV Stream, but it's not the $45.99/mo headline price most Sling Blue pages advertise.
The add-on math has one more wrinkle: News Extra only includes CNBC when Sling Blue is part of your plan, either Sling Blue alone or the combined Sling Orange & Blue tier. If you're on Sling Orange alone, adding News Extra swaps in HLN instead of CNBC, so Sling Orange plus News Extra will not get you CNBC no matter what. That puts Hallmark Channel and CNBC in a similar spot: both are technically available on Sling but only behind a paid add-on package.
NBCUniversal pulled its channels, including CNBC, from Fubo on November 21, 2025, during a carriage-fee dispute. A new distribution deal announced in June 2026 brought back NBC, Telemundo, and Bravo, but CNBC was not part of that deal. The reason is the January 2026 Versant spinoff: CNBC, MSNBC, USA Network, Syfy, E!, and Golf Channel now belong to Versant, a separate company from NBCUniversal, and Fubo's June 2026 agreement only covers channels NBCUniversal still owns directly. As of 2026-07-19, CNBC remains missing from Fubo with no announced return date.
Sling Orange does not carry CNBC either, even with the News Extra add-on, for the reason above, and Philo skips it entirely: Philo's whole model leaves out 24-hour news and business channels like CNBC, CNN, and Fox News to keep its base price at $25.00/mo.

Sling Blue plus News Extra at $51.99/mo is a reasonable pick if CNBC and a handful of other news channels cover what your household actually watches, and you don't mind stacking an add-on onto a base plan. If you'd rather not do add-on math at all, YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, or DirecTV Stream all include CNBC without one, for roughly double the price.
If your household also wants live local news or network primetime and Sling's local coverage doesn't reach your market, the three full-lineup services are the more realistic pick.
